Just watched a wonderful movie with a weird, long title... and loved it! I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me...Starring John Goodman as a man desperate to keep a vow to meet a childhood crush at the Hotchkiss Dance Studio on the 5th day of the 5th month in the 5th year of the new millennium. Unfortunately, he crashes his car, and enlists a passerby to keep the appointment for him.
The cast also includes Marisa Tomei, Mary Steenburgen, Sean Astin, Ernie Hudson, Adam Arkin, and Donnie Wahlberg, a man who considers himself the king of the dance studio (complete with tight shirt and pants). Cameos by Danny DeVito & Camryn Manheim are perfect. This is a sweet, touching, funny, quirky movie.
