Classic Saki Stories by Saki (H. H. Munro)
Saki was a British satirist in the early 20th century. This collection of short stories center around animals, including mice in the underwear, a cat that learns to talk, and an ox in the drawing room. Some stories are more amusing than others, like a family with unmarried daughters accidentally selling their crazy horse to the newest eligible bachelor. But these are not laugh-out-loud stories; they are written in typical British style.
