Washington Schlepped Here: Walking in the Nation's Capital by Christopher Buckley
Buckley, a former White House staffer, takes the reader on a journey to some of the most prominent locations in the DC. He also includes a quirky history behind the founding of the capital, plus some funny stories about his previous life in the White House circle.
Great book, especially if you enjoy US history. Almost every story he told was new to me. For example, Abraham Lincoln's hands "sign" his initials, and LBJ stripped Air Force One of everything he could remove when his term was over to fill his presidential library.
